How to make recipe albondigas

Take some ground beef, spices, some garlic, salt, well chopped onions, ground pepper, Masaharina and mix them nicely in a bowl. The measurements for the ingredients is in the bottom of the post.

If you take the ingredients according to our recommended measurements. Then these should be enough to make about 40 balls out of it. If you manage to make the balls with your hands its great. If not then go for a cookie scoop and that will be perfect for it. But only the scoop is not enough for good balls. They will still need your hands for shaping them and making them smooth.

Roast 3 tomatoes in an oven until they are soft if their skin burns then just remove it. Then give them a whirl in a blender. Now they have to wait some time so set them aside. If you cant remove the burnt skin just cover the tomatoes in a pot with plastic. Within 5 minutes you should be able to remove the skin easily.

Boil some well chopped garlic in a large pot with some water. The heat should be medium and then add the balls. After cooking them for 15 minutes the balls will start floating on the surface of water. Just decrease the heat and let it boil for a while.

Add some chopped onion and Roma tomatoes to a preheated skillet with olive oil and fry them well. Now add these to the other boiling chicken broth with the meatballs. Additionally add some tomato sauce, cilantro, pieces of carrots, saffron, coriander, cilantro (optional) and some rice to the same pot where the meatballs and chicken broth are boiling. 

Ancho Chiles in recipe albondigas

You can always add some ground Ancho Chiles if you want the recipe Albondigas to taste hot.

Then cook them for half an hour, the cilantro here provides here the spice when combined with ground coriander seeds. If you can't find saffron threads you can replace them with the safflower.

  • Some vegetable or olive oil
  • Powder of Black peppers 1 teaspoon
  • 3 chopped onions
  • Masaharina 2 table spoons
  • 1 carrot pieces
  • 2 Celerys
  • 600ml water
  • Saffron a little more than quantity of salt
  • Ground coriander a little more than quantity of salt
  • Some Cilantro 
  • 3 Roma tomatoes chopped
  • Chicken broth
  • Long rice 1/4 cup
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Take some ground beef, spices, some garlic, salt, well chopped onions, ground pepper, Masaharina and mix them nicely in a bowl. And make medium size balls of them.
  2. Put 600ml water in a deep pot with chicken broth heat them on medium heat.
  3. Roast 3 Roma tomatoes in oven until they become soft and then give them a whirl in a blender. Keep them aside for a while.
  4. Boil some well chopped garlic in a large pot with some water. The heat should be medium and then add the balls. After cooking them for 15 minutes the balls will start floating on the surface of water. Just decrease the heat and let it boil for a while. 
  5. Add some chopped onion and Roma tomatoes to a preheated skillet with vegetable or olive oil and fry them well. Now add these to the other boiling chicken broth with the meatballs.
  6. Now you can Additionally add some tomato sauce, cilantro, pieces of carrots, saffron, coriander, cilantro (optional) and some rice to the same pot where the meatballs and chicken broth are boiling.
  7. Then cook them for half an hour, the cilantro here provides here the spice when combined with ground coriander seeds. You can also add some ancho Chile powder if you want it taste hot. If you can't find saffron threads you can replace them with the safflower.
